Unfortunately, this previously very useful tool to calculate the approximate distance you are from your telephone exchange is no longer available. An approximation of the distance to the exchange can be obtained by visiting Mapquest. Just enter your postcode in the Calculate Directions form and click GET DIRECTIONS. Please note this calculates the distance by road, which may not necessarily be the same as the length of the telephone line, which is used by BT to calculate whether ADSL can be installed.
